Onni Group continues construction on condo development in Vancouver
BRADLEY FEHR
A construction worker glances up before a load is hoisted at Social, a new residential development in Vancouver. The Onni Group is the owner and general contractor on the project, which includes nine storeys above grade, 125 condo units and townhouses at street level.
IBI/HB Architects handled the design.
Consultants on the project include SRC Engineering Ltd. (mechanical and electrical), John Bryson & Partners (structural) and David Roberts Kane Consulting (sustainability).
The project is aiming for LEED Silver certification. The site was previously an Eden Group development called The Elyse.
