Glass installation moves upwards for the Absolute Condos in Mississauga, Ont. Owner/developer Fernbrook Homes Dominus have completion of the two-tower project scheduled for sometime this summer. One tower is 27 storeys and the other is 31 storeys with a total of 600 units. There will also be four levels of underground parking. The Absolute Condos is designed by Burka Varacalli Architects. Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); TeGi Engineering (mechanical/electrical); EsQape Design (interior design); and NAK Design Group (landscape). Subtrades include: Four Valley Excavating & Grading/Costa Earthmoving Inc. (excavation); Premform Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar; Global Precast; Toronto Redi-Mix Ltd. (concrete supply); University Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (mechanical); Mayfair Electric Ltd.; Cooltech Services Ltd. (heating); Quest Window Systems Inc.; Protech Roofing Waterproofing Ltd. (roofing/waterproofing); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
